This website is a report of Autobahn's research on Liverpool the European Capital of Culture.
What will the research be about? The main question of the research is whether the people (of Liverpool) are engaged with the whole concept of ECOC. We are trying to avoid results in boring numbers and AEX-style graphics. You won't find us with the calculator or crushing any numbers. Our research will be in the form of live-infographics, images and we will try to picture the real voice of the people of Liverpool. By whom is this research? Autobahn is a graphic design agency from Utrecht, the Netherlands, the city running for the European Capital of Culture in 2018. Read more about this and about the involved parties at the Rationale page. Keep an eye on us, by looking at the Daily Report page.
Support Our research in Liverpool is from the 4th till the 10th of November. During this period we are supported by a lot of local institutions and people. See our links page for all involved parties.
Hot-desk at Merseyside ACME ![]() Kevin McManus, director of Merseyside ACME, has offered us a hot-desk in his studio at the Vanilla Factory. This will be our base during our stay in Liverpool. It's located at 39 Fleet St. See their website for more info.
