The Fall of the Tower of BabelUntil January 2006, The Tower of Babel, former headquarters of the Utrecht Social Service, provided space for artists and designers. The administrator of the tower, Sophies Kunstprojecten (Sophies Art Projects), organised a final exhibition by the name of CU in Babel. Autobahn submitted to the exhibition with an interactive animation: 48 calendars of 25 days each (the total duration of the exhibition) that form one big poster of the Tower of Babel. The 25 days of the calendars are actually 25 frames of an animation showing a collapsing Tower. By ripping off the top print of the calendars every day, the audience puts the animation to play, thus causing the Fall of the Tower of Babel.
