Campaign/exhibition design for FOTODOK
The concept of identity is explored by James Mollison’s campaign/exhibition James and Other Apes: are humans like apes, or are apes like humans? Mollison’s apes are found in the city center of Utrecht (NL) and on social network websites like MySpace and Facebook. That way, everybody has the opportunity to become friends with his or her favorite monkey. Social networks erase the boundaries between animals and humans. 51 monkeys have their own poster exhibited in the streets of Utrecht. These posters also state the monkeys’ unique MySpace and Facebook account.
